Founder, Faith on the Move Ministries, Inc.

 Called to ministry in 1993, Pastor Eric S. Jackson heeded the voice of God and answered the clarion call to preach the gospel of Christ Jesus. His mission is to tell of God’s love and grace, as he teaches the practical application of God’s Word in every aspect of life. With just a word from the Lord, faith, and a servant’s heart, Faith on the Move Ministries, Inc. was born.

 Over the past 15 years, Pastor Jackson has watched God transform Faith on the Move from its small, humble beginnings which included an initial congregation of his wife, children and mother. Under Pastor Jackson’s leadership, the ministry continually flourishes and is now home to more than 200 members and rapidly growing. Currently located in the heart of mid-town Savannah, Georgia at 810 East Broad Street, Faith on the Move is a multifaceted ministry with more than 20 sub-ministries committed to internal growth and development as to effectively impact the community and enhance the Kingdom of God.

While his local ministry continues to thrive, Pastor Jackson is also committed to global ministry and service.  In 2002, he accompanied a Missions group to Haiti

where he helped to build schools, offered medical assistance, and provided clothing and shelter for the homeless, while preaching the gospel to lost souls. Ever seeking personal growth and development, in 2007, Pastor Jackson was certified as a member of the Jointed College of Bishops in Cleveland, Ohio, under the tutelage of Bishop J. Delano Ellis, II.

 Pastor Jackson, along with Bernadette Jackson (his Co-Pastor and wife of nearly 30 years), is committed to excellence in every aspect of his ministry. The dynamic pastoral team has trained and equipped a ministerial board consisting of two Elders and three Ministers. Each sub-ministry is overseen by a trained ministry leader, following the worthy leadership examples of Pastor and Co-Pastor Jackson. As the ministry grows in strength and number, Pastor Jackson remains forward-thinking in his vision as he follows God’s leadership and instruction. In an effort to preach the gospel of Christ to the world, plans are well underway toward erecting a 1500-seat sanctuary with an adjacent recreational facility, and the establishment of a Christian Daycare and school for academic and spiritual excellence, affordable housing units and a rehabilitation center, and ongoing literacy and life skills programs. Pastor Jackson, with his faithful membership, strives to provide a facility which fosters healing and deliverance, educating and empowering believers for service in the Kingdom of God...

 A husband, father of two beautiful daughters, and grandfather of five spirited grandchildren, Pastor Eric S. Jackson has a tremendous love and compassion for all people. Coupled with a undying passion for God’s Word, he carries a contagious spirit of faith and generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry. He boasts the hand of God in all things and has made 2 Corinthians 5:7 his life’s theme as he “walks by faith, not by sight”. Having received his mandate from God, Pastor Eric S. Jackson, obediently and wholeheartedly fulfills his calling as Founder and Senior Pastor of Faith on the Move Ministries, Inc. as he endeavors to take the world by faith.
